The brief we had for this was “wow factor” incorporating a new kitchen/living space and a new bathroom. Our architect started with two centrally located roof lanterns, electrically operated from the kitchen. This allowed the light to flood the room even on gloomy days. This, combined with the full width aluminium bi-fold doors opening up onto 2 new patios we created in the garden. This created a space that anyone would be proud to own. The client had a very clear vision from the outset of what they were trying to achieve. Some very bold colours were chosen to compliment the kitchen cabinets and the finished article was very special indeed.  I think we can safely say we achieved the “wow” the client was looking for.
